I've just fallen over again. Lay on the floor for a bit without moving. Dog came & lay with me. Will have a huge bruise on my left side upper thigh & hip. Feeling very shaken. DB not home until midnight. Have put myself to bed. Pins & needles racing up & down the left leg, my back is firing & the hot poker coal is back with a vengeance. What a way to finish the day, when it started out so well. The good news is my bladder didn't go, 3 weeks ago it would have ....

Pam,
When you mention falling over again. As of late, have you been falling often? Do you use a cane? I finally had to give in; especially when going out. It does help with balance issues.

Glad you were able to get yourself in bed. It really was nice to read the dog lay beside you. Very endearing...

Hang in there dear friend.

Hi Gerry, I've had the walking stick for 10 years now. I know my leg strength is getting weaker, I'm conscious of it when moving around particularly in crowds or when the dogs are playing. I would on thinking say I've fallen at least half a dozen times in the last 2 years. I had hoped the Pilates would improve my balance and leg strength but no such luck.

Pam, I would imagine you have some bruising today from the fall. You mentioned the "pins and needles' firing with a vengeance with your back. Hopefully there is not any additional injuriesl caused by your body having wrenched when going down. How are you doing today???

Just checking in; tears still shed but not to the extent previously, headache still persists, been solid now for over 3 weeks. Tend to agree with Gerry who pointed out the epidural procedures so closely together probably the driving force.... see GP next week just in case, don't fancy having another seizure. Other than that I'm good, busy at work, a little overwhelmed at times, will be easier once I get this new home printer.

Pam,

I'm not sure I mentioned; but steroids and the migraines were terrible. Some years ago, I had a procedure done on my lumbar area. When I was back in my room, my headache so badly, I had to close the drapes because the light was hurting my eyes and worsening my migraine.

I told one of the individuals involved the next day that "if I didn't know better, I would have thought I had had some steroids because of the terrible migraine. She told me they had used steroids but didn't think they needed to mention the steroids were involved because I had not told them I suffered from migraines when having steroids.

So many things you had described; affected me similarly, including the epidurals.

Hopefully these effects will soon clear up.

Trying to do "catch up" at work has to be a bit overwhelming.

The tears are back & are without release. Our silver anniversary while wonderful and beautiful was ruined by the scum of a SIL K who Gerry so kindly offered to send a moon pie to one time.

She posted some truly horrid comments about me, I'm an awful woman, causing trouble from 1/2 way round the world. Hope the surgery next months kills me and DB health will improve dramatically. Plus she posted awful comments about 2 of DB nieces (SIL G daughters), really really unpleasant and petty stuff. Along the lines of they've switched allegiance to me and good luck with their lives without her in them. I can't make head nor tail of it, she's accused me of upsetting SIL G who has just come out of rehab.

I've sent SIL G nothing but supportive messages and SIL K has told dreadful lies to SIL G about me and finished with I'm evil. It's as if SIL K wants SIL G to fail. SIL K has worked systematically for 25 yrs to create a wedge in the family and she has to date succeeded. This weekend bought it all to a head and SIL K has been exposed. Not that it makes me feel better. SIL G doesn't need any of this post rehab.

SIL K She was supposed to send a letter to SIL G in rehab but she never did. I wrote an email while SIL G was in but she never received it in rehab she did get it on release, I suspect SIL K blocked the account, it was along the lines of you are a good person, be brave, people love you and and you are worthy of that love.

SIL G, she sent me a message & thanked me for it & asked me to be friends with her on FB, I accepted. She wrote me & said it was hard outside & the people there thought she should return, I said they're the experts, if the think you should, then give it consideration & follow your heart.

DB rang SIL G Tuesday as SIL G rang here asking to speak with him and where was all this anger, vitriol and drama on the weekend coming from. DB told SIL G some, said SIL K being jealous but emphasised as I had, this is nothing for her (SIL G) to concern herself over or get involved in. She burst into tears & said she wants to go back to rehab but her husband T doesn't want her to & SIL K is saying she is selfish & needs to put her family first. SIL K says I'm bang out of order for suggesting SIL G return to rehab if outside noise is too much for her & it's another example of me causing trouble.

If anything it has made me feel worse for 25 years SIL K has tried to turn the family against me, she is cruel, mean spirited and self centred not to mention someone who is nigh on 60 behaving like a 10yrold. She's told everyone this is war on me. She has 2 beautiful daughters she is estranged from, she has a grandson she doesn't see. I'm not seeing how I can be the one to have done anything wrong other than post a wedding photo which had all the family in it and one of SIL G daughters posted how beautiful it was & how she wished the family could all be in talking terms again. That's all she said, & it's all I did. This has come from left wing & really truly upset me. I feel worthless & like I shouldn't have celebrated my 25th at all.

The tears just don't stop.

Pam,
I think you have described someone who has already paid a big price;...estranged from daughters, etc. Others are not blind to her outrageous statements about you or anything else or anyone else she can think of or mess up.. ....

I think you can take comfort in the fact she has/is exposed for who and what she is. Actually, I feel sorry for someone that bitter and hateful. That is her life. Ugly without any beauty.....

As I have been continuously (every night) in my prayers add those who are dealing with addictions; especially DB, SIL, Second Chances as well as those affected by their addiction; including Pamela June. Now I will add one more to my other "special" list; that will be for SIL K. Sad..

Now Pam; time off the "downer" and on to the Pamala June; the one who plows onward and upward....
