There is a new book out simply called Happier by a Harvard Ph.D.
His name is Tal Ben-Shahar. It seems he started teaching students on how to be happier and all of a sudden his courses became super duper popular. It's fairly easy to read and is divided into three parts. He teaches a person: 1) What happiness is, 2) How to apply it (at work, home, etc.) and 3) Provides Meditations/Tools to help learn about happiness He talks alot about the value of a healthy self esteem/positive psychology. My guess that using his techniques, combined with medication (as needed) could do a world of good. Anyone have their spirits lifted by reading this type of literature?
