(((Julie))) I'm so sorry you're having a bad time. Here's hoping that improves very quickly.
I made it through last week by pretending I was someone else. I've done that before in desperate situations.
And this morning I voted before 7:30 AM.

I'm just so fed up with these diabetes meds. I felt better with skyrocketing glucose levels. It has really gotten me down. Yesterday, I hardly got out of bed. I had the poops all day Friday and Saturday. Yesterday I was dizzy and had a headache that made me nauseous.

Voting was a disaster. The church was tiny, the parking was awful and the man checking in K-Z was at least 90. He couldn't see a thing or hear. I pointed out my name on the rolls like five times. We actually went twice to vote. The first time I thought it was tooo crowded and the second time it was much worse. When we came out it was even worse. No wonder people don't vote when they make it so difficult to do so.

Hello Everyone,

HI Julie, sorry you are having a tough time. I don't know where you are from but sounds like they need to start doing the absentee ballots like we do. It is so much easier. They send them out like two weeks before elections and you have time to research before voting and then just drop them in the mail. I have been voting this way for the last few years and would hate to go back to the old way.

I am wishing everyone a good week and hope the depressions stays far away!

Take care!
Linda

Oh trust me, I will absentee vote from now on. The last election in May, there were 25 total voters in our precinct...granted it was only a schoolboard election and I had heard all these tales of voter apathy so I didn't think it would be a problem. Never did I think 1500+ would vote.

Hi everyone,
First, I have a question: how does one absentee vote? I can't always get to the polls, so it would be easier for me to vote this way. I did not vote this time because of this.

I am doing ok, busy as heck, but I am hanging in there. I have good grades still. Why do the profs decide to wait til the last quarter of the term to do all the big things? I know the class is building on itself so they have to, but really, it does seem like its all hitting me at once.

I have an apartment inspection on Tuesday for my section 8, so I have been cleaning like a mad woman......but its not all bad because now its clean, but it was a lot of work. My mom helped me, but still I had to do a lot of work myself. I will definetly try to keep it up better from now on. I just got so depressed for awhile that I didn't care. I am doing fairly well aside from normal stuff. I see the doctor next week, so that will be the test because last time I did not like what he said to me.

Still going to talk and music therapies too. Glad I have those 2 days off during the week or I would go crazy, literally.

Take care, all.

I didn't get to vote this time, either. My old govt. teacher from high-school would kick me if she found that out... She always preached to us about the sanctity of the election booth.

Maybe I need to check into the absentee voting, too. Sure sounds a lot simpler.

Hi Linda...Clouds z! Kelly, I'm glad you're feeling better. A new week starts tomorrow, so we can all begin all over again!

Ya'll take care...
