Default Friday

Tired . . . have worked two tweleves (today and yesterday). Feels like I have walked in circles and got nothing done at work. I have managed to sleep a little better, but I am still tired when I wake up. I am glad that I am off tomorrow.

Default Late Friday night reply...

Hi, ResQGal...
Yup, a pair of twelvers will do the number on a body... so, take advantage of the weekend and rest up. From what I see on the weather map, you oughta have some pretty weather on Saturday, with a little chance of some wetsiveness as the weekend slides on. One good thing about working long hours is you're usually pretty tired afterwards, so sleep should come easy to you; I hope it does, ResQGal... you deserve a good night's rest.

Well, the weekend has me thinking about what's going to come next... Thursday afternoon I saw the Orthopedic Surgeon for an ongoing follow-up on my lumbar spine surgery... he looked at my entire spine, and focused on some cervical issues I've been enduring... he ordered some X-Rays to compare with those from a couple of years ago. He decided that my wretched neck warranted a further look with an MRI scan. So, I'm left wondering and worrying this weekend about what's going to greet me when the results come back...

Why can't the future ever have something to anticipate instead of something to dread?

that too. peace of mind. come hither.

wednesday i broke down when i finally saw my pdoc after 5 weeks. i cried so much he couldnt' understand what i was saying that was when i was still able to choke words out. last night again when i dustbusted and boxed all my stuffed animals for their new abode in my parents' garage. and here and there and everywhere... it hits me.

ponyboy i had no idea of all the spiney stuff you've been through - just read your sig. i'm sowwy. i do hope the tests check out ok.

resq, i'm glad to see you posting. i hope you have recovered some. i don't feel i can make more suggestions - kinda don't feel like i have the picture really, you know? But i want for you to find the space to be, just be... whatever that entails, and to look after yourself just as you do those you resq.

Ponyboy... Sending you my best wishes for good news, and something to look forward to...

Waves... Sounds like you're going through a pretty trying time. But I can tell that you're fighting back, and I really hope you win! Good luck...
