Default Hi from CPGal82- Kelly

Hi friends,
I used to use the name CPGal82. I could not remember my password for that account, and I have changed my email address, so I couldn't get it to go back to my old name.

I am really busy with school, back full force now....3 classes, but only 6 credits. I could do more, but with all my appointments, I don't have time.
I will be changing from Medicaid to Medicare come November, when I start drawing benefits off my dad's social security. I have no choice but to take it, so now I have to reapply for medicaid so I can get it and continue to get ACT services, because the agency doesn't accept Medicare. Royal pain, but if it means keeping my current services, I will do it. I need that.
I had to end a friendship because she is not a healthy person, and she is using myspace to badmouth me, but I don't let it bother me.
I did not have much of a summer because they were cleaning out my grandma's house getting ready to sell it, and of course I was helping.
I had a birthday a few weeks ago and now I am 24....wow. I can't believe that. My mom and I went to a casino a couple hrs. away....I did not win, but it was fun.
Mood wise, I have been doing well for the most part. Had a few bad days, but who doesn't? It feels great to be back in school, so I am focused on that now.
They have a new psych for ACT, and he is really what they needed all along. I am doing better and on less meds than I was when that quack of a doc was in charge of them.
My mom has a nice new apartment, and my sister is helping her get ready to move. I really like the place. Well, I need to pretend I am doing some homework now, so I will catch you all later. It is good to have this forum back!

Well hello, Kelly! Good to see you.

It sounds as though things are going well for you. I'm so glad to hear that. Sorry to hear you will have to reapply for medicaid ~ hope it goes smoothly.

Happy birthday a little late. I'm happy to hear you had a fun day of it.

Will be looking to hear more from you.

Take care...

Hi Sly!!! I have been thinking about you off and on since the other forum went down, so good to see you again. Yes things are going ok, but I get really tired during the week when I have school. It is the first time in a long time that I have taken 3 college classes. Granted, they are wellness, children's literature, and stress management, and even though they are all easy classes for me, there's so much work that I am not used to.
Laura (my case manager if you forgot) is behind me all the way, which makes things easier to cope with. I will do well. Right now, I have a 4.0 going in children's lit, and I am doing well in the other classes as well, even though I could teach them...LOL. Again, welcome back! I missed hearing from you.

Kelly

Awwwwww Thanks Kelly! It's good to see you too.

I'm SO glad your case manager is there for you. That's so wonderful.

Good luck in your classes this semester. They all seem pretty cool... I mean, things I would enjoy taking too.

Thanks for the welcome back! And welcome back to you too!!
