My daughter is not diabetic but she does have Insulin Resistance. Her doctor did not put her on Metform because she has a sensitivity stomach instead she is on Fortamet.
The thing is when she started taking this medicine her sugar level went up higher. I thought this medicine would lower it, that is why we keep a watch on it. Is it because she just started this medicine and her body have to adjust. Next week she starts taken two pills instead of one. Hope it don't raise it more. Is this something that happens or if this is unusual? Trish |
