Hello,
Has anyone had any experience with mucuna pruriens as a treatment for Diabetes? I read an article in Muscle & Fitness magazine that drew my attention to mucuna pruiens. Subsequent research on the Web indicated possible benefits in reducing blood sugar levels. I was looking for some testimonials regarding this before I made a purchase and began experimenting on myself. Thank you. |

I don't know definitively about this bean... but there is a new drug out using low dose bromocriptine as a treatment for type II diabetes:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0000569 Since this drug also treats PD.. its connection is intriguing. Quote:
