Hi Diane! I am glad to hear that your meds are helping. I am on 1000mg AM and 1000mg PM of Metformin and it was helping but not as much anymore. Stress can shoot my sugrs up to 14 and 15...then I feel so tired and sick that I have to lay down! I am still having a hard time eating regularly! My weight is only down 10 pounds I need to lose another 40 but for some reason I cannot shake the weight! It is frustrating! I spend alot of time feeling hot in the face because my sugars are up....I am ging to go to the doc this week to see what he says. On a good note I quit my extremely stressful job and I am very happy about it! I had a horrifying boss that was mean and cruel. I will not miss the job or him! Take Care, Diane!! Dorrie

Default thanks

Hi Dorrie I am glad you are out of your stressful job and away from your mean boss, there is no fun if you don't have a friendly atmosphere when you are at work, you feel there is no reason to get up and go to work, when you know it is going to be like that when you get there, sorry to hear that your sugars are suffering it has taken me so long to get mine under control, but I do feel much better for it now, maybe without the stressful job you can get yours undercontrol again.

Default hi dorrie

Hi Dorrie here in australia at the moment everyone is talking about this new shake drink that has helped them loss weight, and I have seen the results with some of our friends, they are replacing there breakfast and lunch every day and they are really seeing the benefits, they allow themselves a 1000 calories a day, so they sit down with the family at night for the main meal and they are really loosing the weight, I don't have a weight problem with my diabetes mine is inherited, from my dad's family,so the weight thing is not a concern to me,thank goodness, alot have said that the drink thing is also helping there diabetes, there readings have been really good.
