You are absolutely right. I would have to precisely put the syringe needle into the same spot each time (like the pen needles do). I think in a pinch (when I am at the end of the Flex Pen) I might do that. But in a new pen, I'll use the pen needles.

I found all the info on the pens most fascinating. I never knew all the variables. Thanks so much for that link. I will not be using syringes and will stick to my pen needles.
