Injectable choices for treating type 2 diabetes (Victoza - a non-insulin injectable)

Personally, if I am going to "inject", I took the insulin route.

I am not sure why doctors or patients would choose a NON-insulin injectable other than weight issues.

I wanted to use insulin to replace what my body was no longer able to supply in sufficient quantity. I just felt it a more natural method to aid in controlling my diabetes.

Personally, I am not sure there is enough weight loss benefit to Victoza, to risk using it.

Just my opinion and I do not mean to offend anyone that uses Victoza.
