Video visit went good. I am pre-diabetic and with my kappa free light chain elevated he is referring me to a hematology clinic for a bone marrow biopsy. I do have other autoimmune issues such as ITP and had a bone marrow biopsy done nearly 20 years ago. He said in rare cases it could indicate cancer, but that's the reason he wants to dig deeper into this. They will probably have some other things to test.
I will be pretty busy the next few weeks. Lots to take in for sure but it's just another piece of my puzzle. |
