Hey Dorries,

Right here

Just been busy coming off the summer with a couple of projects at work.

My eating is good. Doing a food program where the food is delivered everyday and its low glycemic index and the right portions.

After two weeks i am down 2 lbs.

Hoping that it makes big differences in my Oct blood tests.

Nice pic of lil Saffire. Hows that angel doing?

Hi Shelley! Good to hear back from you!! I am seriously thinking of trying atkins again....it is hard though as my body feels sick with no carbs...but if I can just get thru a few days I may be OK. Hubby is on it and is down 10 pounds however we are both on meds that make it difficult to lose. I have even looked into a medically supervised rapid weight loss place near us....it would cost about $3000.00 to get me thin within 4 months...tempting but definitely out of my price range!!!!!!! I stopped taking my metformin and glyberide this summer....my tummy is much better for it! I see the doc this week and will get my blood work done...I am curious to see what my numbers will be like....If I am careful I can keep my sugars reasonable...however I need to get more exercise!!
My little Saffire is 20 months old now!! She is delightful! She is as smart as a whip. She counts to 10...knows 8 different shapes...identifies 100's of pictures of animals and "things"....knows most of her colors...sings with me...her fav song is "Away in a manger"...she loves to play dress up...fav is a queen..uses her manners all the time...her fav song to dance to is Tutti Fruitti!!!! She is very loving and gives me dozens of "cozy hugs" throughout our days. She absolutely Loves to read too! She still says her prayers with me saying "Hi God at the start and a big AMEN after. She is adorable and we are so blessed to have her with us!! Thanks for asking about her Shelley!
I am glad that the hustle bustle of summer is over but now hockey starts for both the boys....busy busy!
Take Care Shelley! Good to hear from you!
