Default I'm back...for now

I wrote in the social forum but I don't know who all goes there. Thanks for your help Sue. One of the mods gave me a temporary password & I got in. I have missed coming here. My computer went blank one day & my husband had to buy a new 'something' & fix it and maybe thats how the comp. 'lost it's ability to recognise a password from me.????

Hi Lor,
It's great to see you back again. You might want to write down your password on a piece of paper like I do so if something happens to your computer you will remember it. This has happened to me in the past. Here's wishing you well and May God Bless You!

Sue

Cool Hi Lor

Nice to see you!

Yeah that's the bad side of the "remember me" tag... it is a good idea to keep your password elsewhere.

Anyhow, welcome back! i'm usually next door in bipolar but had a problem... so popped in here and... well... looks like i might hang out.

(if you guys will have me)

The thing is...I did remember my password but still it wouldn't let me in. I tried making a new one a few times & it still wouldn't work. Well.....it is for now

sounds like a more of a browser issue that a forum issue - like cookies got disabled for a time. to login, or to be automatically recognized, you must have cookies enabled.

during the "repair" of whatever it was, perhaps the existing cookies were deleted AND cookies disabled. new passwords would still not work...

unless at some point someone - hubby? - realized what was happening (either because of your problem or because he had similar navigation problems) and reenabled cookies around the same time you got the new password.

that is my hypothesis.
