Forgotten words

Ruby,

I too forget words or mix up words. ie: I will say "Look at stir" when I intended to say look at her. This is very frustrating. I also will be speaking and just can't come up with the correct word. Like you, I know what I want to say, but it just will not come out of my mouth. I have mentioned this several times to Dr., but they seem to just ignore it as being insignifigent. It is always worse after an episode.
I now also have trouble typing and sometimes writting words(the letters) in correct order. I have to re-read everything. I am going for VEEG testing on Mon. at Dartmouth-Hitchcock for 5-7 days. That is if insurance aproves it as being nessecary.
I hope you get the answers you want. You are not a "dummy." It is great that your husband helps you out, and sounds like he is very patient.

Garney:)

It seems to be very common, I thought it was my medicine but it's not. It's very frustrating and I do it a lot. I will blend words (like painting my ningerfails), and forget words and my short term memory is so long gone I get really cranky when I forget everything I think to do and it's gone from my brain within seconds.
