My suggestion is to fight it with games, wether it be cards, puzzles,
board games, watching tv game shows and trying to answer the questions.
This is what the Dr told me to stimulate my fathers memory and it does help.

I use to be so good at the puzzles and tv game shows. Haven't done any in over 3 yrs. Now I am starting over,you lose what you don't use.

And its fun too. Stimulate your brians with games !!!!!!
