Ugh. I started on armidex and within 4 days I started having partials. 4 weeks within stopping I have my first gm within 9 months. This and zonegran sit on the same liver enzyme and as far as I can figure cut the zonegran's life.
Any ideas on how to handle multiple problems with different specialist who don't care about the consequences of their acts????? |

hi Hanna
I was on cyclosporine several years ago and I had the same problem with it affecting my seizures. I dont think I was on zonegran at the time, altho I am now. I remember lots of hospitalizations and trips to the ER because there was really nothing they could do. I was also on prednisone for a short time to decrease the side effects of the cyclo so.. unless you were bringing me food the best thing to do was stay far far away from me ! Definitely not fun times. Are you done with the armidex or will you need to take it again ? Would you maybe be able to take a benzo like klonopin or ativan to help cover during the time you have to take it ? sorry you are having problems, it definitely stinks. hang in there, Pam |

Wish that I knew something that could help you. You've been through so much. Hope that the New Year is much better for you than this last one has been. What's going on?
