Unhappy Whats going on?

Hi guys, my first post here. ^_^

My question is...sometimes I get a random "jump". I lose control of a my body for barely 2 seconds, what is this? Its greatly effecting my daily life not to mention how scary it is.

On a side note...How do we cope with this? I'm finding it hard to keep going in life. I had to quit school due to money so I'm living with my parents (I'm 18). All my friends moved on finding their schools and going through their lives, yet I'm stuck here in my old life. I sometimes just sit in my room and cry for hours...I know I'm weak and this makes me sound pathetic but I have no one to turn to.
What did you guys do?...

Thank you for reading, I'm sorry for whining so much...
B.D.

(((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))).

You need to see a doctor about this, hon'. Have you ever been dx'ed with epilepsy? If so, mention this to your neuro, but if not, you'll need to tell your GP and go from there. The first step to coping is going to the doc and getting the correct dx.

Good luck!

LIZARD

P.S. With everything going on in your life right now, it could very well be a stress reaction, so consider that, too, especially if it's a new problem.

Hi BD and welcome to the forum.

Liz is spot on with the advice of seeing a doctor.

Big hugs on all the stress you are going through.

Julie

I've made my appt. and hopefully it won't turn out badly.

Default new symptoms

Dear Brokendreamsz,

I also agree with Liz and Julie. I was glad to see you had made an appointment with your Dr. Write down everything that happens before, during, and after one of episodes. What time of day or night do they occur, or is it random times? These will give your Dr. a good base to start with. I wish you the best, and hope you get the answers you need.

B.D. I agree with what the others said. Remember what Garney said & note what time these occur also note what you eat shortly beforehand. Are you a F? For some, having seizures has something to do with their cycle.
