Heart Patience with time

I am on cloud nine. Today marks 300 days since my last seizure. It is wonderful having the Good Lord with me. I am feeling so much better these days. One December 10 (which is one year since the surgery) I will be seeing my neuro to reduce medication.

I want to tahnk each and everyone of my friends for being there helping me out. May God be with you.

Hugs,

Darlene

Hi Darlene,

I want you to know that I'm very happy for you and I hope you are sz. free for the rest of your life. It sounds like God answered your prayers now that you've gone 300 days without any sz. Here's wishing you only the best and May God Bless You!

Hello all my loving buddies, I went and saw my neuro last Thursday. He was very excited to fine out I still have not had a seizure since the surgery, December 10. That makes it 346 days since my last one. Now he has start easy me off my medicine. Te first one is Keppa. I have move to taking 3-1500 pills in the morning and now 2 1/2 pills at night. Every 2 months I can reduce another 1/2.

I do have some bad news. My neuro is moving to Florida and I have to change doctors. I have been going to this neuro for 10 years, I will miss him a lot. I hope this new (he suggest) will impress me. My first appointment with him is in January. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Hi Darlene,
I am so happy to hear that you are cutting back on the keppra and you are still sz. free. Your neuro has played it smart making you slowly go off the keppra. Just like you my Epi has retired and referred me to another Epi who I saw this past August and was very pleased with her.
I'm glad that God has answered everyones prayers and that you are doing well and are sz. free. I wish you only the best and May God Bless You!

Grin As Eva Gabor would say ...

MA-VAH-LASH!

That is absolutely fabulous news to hear Darlene! However,
sad to hear about your Neuro running away, I mean, moving
away to Florida ...

I am sure you are excited as heck and there's more to be
thankful for right there - with more mileage coming your way!

Keep on rollin' rollin' rollin' as the song goes; at least you've
sent your "E" to Hotel California (where it's checked in and
now it can't check out! LOL!)

Heart

I went and met the Epileptologist who my neuro set me up with when he moved out of town. I was impressed with him, seems he is going to work out o.k., I had a nice meeting with him. HE wants to hold back on decreasing my meds till he can study my records out, I was the one that passed them to him that day. He did schelude me an EEG, which was done on the 5th, it was a long time since I had one, but went ok. He also did some levels on my meds. I will go back in one month and he will make some ideas for us to go with.

I want to thank each of thoughts you have given me. It is great to have a group of dear friends like you all.

Hi Darlene,

I'm glad to hear that you are pleased with your new neuro. I think the neuro is playing it smart reading over your medical records before cutting you back on the keppra. I want you to know I'm so very happy for you that you haven't had a single sz. since your surgery. I think that is wonderful and I hope that you will remain sz. free for life. You are in my prayers and thoughts. Wishing you only the best and May God Bless You!
