I'm sorry to hear that you are having seizures. If I may ask when you get an aura seizure do you see colors in your eyes, smell odd odours, or get a nervous feeling in your stomach and then after that hit the floor? If you do you are having drop seizures. This is related to a complex partial seizure that can lead into a tonic clonic (grand mal) seizure.
My best advice to you is to go to an Epilepsy Center and see an Epileptologist (Dr. who specializes in epilepsy). They will be able to pinpoint the cause of your seizures and you will have to take less seizure meds. Youc an ask the Dr. to do a DNA test on you and they will be able to find what seizure med is the best for you with the least side effect. I've had epilepsy for 39 yrs. I started having absence seizures when I was 10 yrs. old but I didn't let it stop me. I had brain surgery twice to help reduce my seizures, I've never been able to drive but I've always worked, I didn't let the epilepsy stop me from working. There are a lot of famous people who have epilepsy like Elton John, Alan Fanaca -professional football player for the Arizonia Cardinals, Einsteen, Edgar Alan Poe, Agatha Christie and many more people.
Do you feel tired, or confused after a seizure, if you do these are all signs of a seizure. Often a person will have seizures from to much stress and lack of sleep other things that can trigger seizures is bright light, being sick with a cold or a virus of some type, and a low pressure in the weather. Keep a calendar and write down each time you have a seizure and put down the description of the seizure.
