Hey guys, I had my spianl tap done on the 29th and to my shocking surprise it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. They actually numbed my lumbar area then numbed it deeper and the only thing I really felt was the prick from the first injection then the pressure of the needle going deeper(a bit uncomfortable) I got to see my cerebral spinal fluid, which was clear as water(thank god) I'm still sore but hopefully that will be gone soon.

Thanks for the update and I'm happy to hear it went fairly well! Make sure you let us know as soon as you get your results back.
*Hugs*

Hi lilly,
I'm glad to hear that all went well for you. It sure sounds like they have changed the way a spinal tap is done today compared to back in the early 1970's. I hope all the test results turn out in your favor. Here's wishing you well and May God Bless You! Sue |
