If your pharmacy is open today, Sunday, you could have your medication right now, if you really wanted. In fact if you had discussed this with your pharmacy when you went to pick them up... you would never have been without at all. It would have been fixed on the spot.

At least now, if this happens to you again, you will have an idea on how to approach the problem.

But it is your decision to go without and wait til Monday, after all.

I am so happy to here the good news. I go through the mail for my medication and it has happened yo me. I was pretty nervous till I finally got it solved. Nice time make sure and order it earlier than you did this last time. Then call them every day until you bug them enough to feel it.

I am glad you got that straightened out finally.

Most pharmacies will ADVANCE you enough medication when you are OUT to last until your refill is granted, or a dosage change is needed to be done, or an insurance snafu occurs.

They will then deduct the tablets from your next fill.
For maintenance meds like seizure drugs, diabetic medication,
blood pressure, and heart meds, this is done frequently.
Less likely for opiates or benzos.

So when you run into a snag, just request an advancement like this. It is done no charge most of the time.

For mail away patients, it is possible to get an emergency small fill at a local pharmacy. Depending on the problem you may have to pay a small copay, or not. If the mail away has made an error they typically waive any fee. This however is time consuming at the local level, so expect to wait perhaps a day while all the phone calling is done. It can take alot of time to do.

Is it possible?

Hello everyone,

Is it possible Pony to have your meds placed into a Webster Pack? I know I had times of either forgetting or taking too much medication before I began using one.

They are created and sealed at the Pharmacy so if there are any missing you can tell immediately, and instead of opening it you can call them and let them know there is an error.

If they make the package up, only they can be responsible.

Glad it got worked out for you though. I've never heard of a pharmacy denying seizure medication under any circumstances.

Rhiannon,......................................... ....................

It's not meds., taken by, mouth, so, no, it couldn't be done.
But, thanks for the suggestion!!:)
