Default Results from Doctor Appt.

Well I have to have a spinal tap done, both the headache specialist and my neurologist think that I have some kind of built up pressure in my brain. The only way to know for sure is this spinal tap. In some ways I'm excited because hopefully this will help them decide if I need another brain surgery or not. I don't know when all that will be ha ppening yet but I will let you know as soon as I find out!!

(((Tiger lilly))) I haven't the faintest bit of knowledge about a spinal tap -- I don't even know which forum might be able to give you some answers (IF you have any questions) and I'm sorry you have more waiting for an appointment.
But I sure am glad you have one answer and are moving forward.

One step at a time - One step at a time . We'll be praying for you with each step.

I hope you get some good results back from it. I've had a couple in my time, if you haven't had one the best advice I can give you is to stay as relaxed as possible and it's much easier. The position you sit in is the most awkward part of it, but I've had one lying down which was more comfortable.

Thanks for keeping us updated!

Well the doc says that spinal taps are alot different now then they were back in the day. He says that they numb the area and instead of digging around when the nurse feels she can't get it she just quits then. I'm still scared about it but I know that it has to be done. I will let you know when I'm going to have it as soon as I find out. Thank you for the support and prayers!! *hugs*

Hey lizard, Omg..I just read your blog and it was great! I've been dealing with weight issues for a few years now(since my first brain surgery) I've tried every ever loving thing out there except weight watchers. I'm 26 y.o. and 5'6 and weigh about 180. It's just so hard to loose weight because I also deal with a thyroid problem(hypothyroid) which makes it even more difficult to loose weight. If I choose to try weight watchers I'll let you know!!
