I was wondering, is there some type of monitor I can wear to
detect if/ when I'm having siezure, instead, of being hospitalized? Thank you, Phyllis

Hi Phyllis,
A new device is coming out soon that will sense a sz. before it happens and let you know but I'm not sure if the FDA has approved of it. Check out the Smart Watch for epilepsy you might be interested in that. Also if you are interested seizure alert dogs can sense when a person is going to have a sz. 10 min. to 1 hr. before the sz. happens. They smell a chemical that our body gives off that we can't sense and they will either bark or put their paw on your leg to let you know you are going to have a sz. it all depends on how they are trained. Here's wishing You well and May God Bless You! Sue |
