Hi everyone,
I am trying to find another person who may experience similar symptoms. When I have a partial I plunge into an intense depression that is almost unbearable. Sometime there is also a stomach ache associated with this. It is all over within a few minutes but I am so shakey after it happens. Anyone out there? |

kpcnyc,
Welcome to NeuroTalk. I have experienced what you mentioned. For me, it was a swinging reaction to a medication. It can also be caused by a serious drop in blood sugar. The shakiness can be caused by an adrenal reaction. Do you have access to a blood sugar meter and Blood Pressure measurement kit? If your BP is up after, it may explain the shakiness. Low glucose can precipitate the absence seizure. A 5 hour glucose tolerance test may help. Are you dieting on a limited calorie intake?
