Question Can Arthritis occur in head after brain surgery?

Does anyone have experience with what seems to be arthritis pain in the head ? I had brain surgery for epilepsy 21 years ago, and the past few years my head hurts so much more than it used to when the weather changes (low barometer) and regular headache medicines (Excedrin, etc) don't seem to help much.

Hi buddyrhoda,

I have had brain surgery twice over 20 yrs. ago and I've never heard about arthritis in the head but I could be wrong. I get headaches when the weather changes as well as sz. sometimes and my Epileptologist told me that it was do to the low pressure in the weather and the air being heavier that can sometimes cause headaches and sz.
If you haven't started keeping track of this write down on a calendar when you have a headache or pains, and if there's a low pressure outside or one on the way in a day or two you may see a pattern in your headaches and the low pressure like I do my headaches, and sz. during a low pressure.
Be sure to point this info. out to your Dr. and they may be able to tell you more detail on how the weather can trigger these headaches. I wish you the best of luck and May God Bless You!

Sue

arthritis is tech a prob with joints, so no, unless it is your upper neck.
sounds more like migraines?
