Hello all!!, Well all that the shrink did was pretty much write stuff down and switched my anti-depressent to Cymbalta. Say a few prayers that this anti-depressent works better than the Effexor I was on. I have to make an appt. to see a therapist who will help me with the depression and also she'll teach my different ways to deal with things that seem to set me off so to speak. I just got back from a dentist appt. today....pulled a tooth out and put one of those implants in. Very exhausted but hanging in there. As for my seizures and such right now the doctors are more focused on my headaches than the few seizures I have a month. I was thinking about making an appt. with my neuro anyway to see if he can give me any idea's or if he even knows what the next step might be with me. Do you guys think I should do that??? I will keep you posted on everything, God Bless all of you and take care.

Hi Tiger Lilly,
I found that seeing a neuropsychatrist the best thing to do when I was having medical problems do to my sz. The neuropsych. understands the brain much better than a regular shrink ever did with me and they can tell what area of the brain is causing the problems all by doing simple little tests right in their office. Here's wishing you well and May God Bless You! Sue |

I don't know if I'll be seeing a neuropsych though. This therapist focuses on Cognotive Therapy, She's suppose to help me find better ways to deal with the negagive ways that I think. I was wondering if I should go and talk too a neuropsych so if you guys think that the neuropsych is the better way to go because they'll know more about the Epilepsy side let me know. I don't want to waist my time with someone who doesn't really understand that. So please, please, please give me some feed back on that before I make an appt. Thank you guys!! *Hugs*
