Default Coconut Oil Helps Seizures

Hi Folks,

Just this past week I started using coconut oil with 100% virgin oil in it and it has done wonders reducing my sz. and curbing my appetite. Coconut oil builds up keytones in a person which in turn stops the sz.

One thing I do is make peanut butter pudding. Just take a tiny dish and put 1 teaspoon of coconut oil in it then add some peanut butter and add a little sugar. Mix these ingrediates and put in your frig until it gets hard, when you take it out you may want mix it up again. Since I have been doing this I haven't had a single sz. and I don't feel that hungry. If you go on line and check out coconut oil for epilepsy you will find a lot of info.
Here's wishing all of you only the best and May God Bless You!
Sue

Hi caroline,

How have you been doing? I'm still using the coconut oil and it works great reducing my seizures along with taking vitamin B12 once a day. Yesterday (May 6th) I started using cbd oil it's a spray that I squirt in my mouth 1-2 times and we will see if this will stop the sz. all together.
Here's wishing you well and May God Bless You!

I don't have seizures but my daughter's good friend does and about 10 yrs ago after many meds and side effects and having to give up her driver's license and she needs it for work, real estate sales, Tracey bit the bullet and did brain surgery. My daughter says she is good, has her DL and working full time. She took the leap and did the surgery. Back 10 yrs ago she probably didn't know about CO but I mentioned it to my daughter to tell Tracey. I know they had the big MJ on charlotte's web cannibus for the little girl. I don't know how she's doing. I think the family moved to CO to get the cannibus.

I'm sure there are varying degrees of seizures. Hope you will do well. C

Hi Sue,
Do you put coconut oil in your diet aside from the peanut butter pudding? If so, can you explain other ways you use it. I am very interested because when I tried to go off Lyrica, my seizures resumed( I know this can happen with Lyrica even if you never had seizures though)

I have been using coconut oil on my body as a moisturizer but I have not been eating it.
I am interested in the wonderful success you are having with being seizure free. That is wonderful.
Thanks, Diandra

Hi Caroline,

I would tell your daughters friend to have her Dr. do a DNA test on her this way she will be able to find out what seizure meds will work the best for her with the least side effects. All she has to do is have the Dr. draw some tubes of blood and take a q-tip and wipe the inside of her mouth, this is sent to the lab where they can see the amount of enzymes in her liver and see her body chemistry and after checking all of that out they will be able to see what seizure med will work the best for her with the least side effect. I had the test done a few yrs. ago and that's when my Dr. found out I was drug resistant to all seizures meds that are out on the market right now that's why I turned to cbd and coconut oil.
I wish you and your friends only the best and May God Bless All of You!

Hi Diandra,

I use coconut oil for both cooking and most of the time I put it on my skin twice a day. I've found putting it on my skin works better than cooking with it because it absorbs faster and goes through the blood stream building up ketones. If you are interested just put some on your legs and feet twice a day in the morning and then later in the evening. I have found that buying the organic coconut oil that's like Crisco that you use to grease pans with better than the liquid coconut oil but everyone body chemistry is different. Here's wishing you well and May God Bless You!

Sue, I mentioned my daughter's friend had the brain surgery and I don't know that she takes any meds. She's doing good to my knowledge and she is even doing triathlons. I think she's a bit obsessive with the exercise program but her choice. I know she is seeing my daughter's and my osteopathic MD for body work. Thanks thou. I'm having first CO oil tsp in my morning coffee... I can't imagine running out of CO.
