Default Nocturnal Myoclnus

I just thought I would like to share this info about myoclonus. I've had it for decades! A number of different factors come into play here but the root cause was cerebral thrombosis (stroke) at the age of 15.

I've tried everything from doctor prescribed medications, herbs, vitamins, message, chiropractors' and nothing seemed to work. Thus, every night when I go to bed and my body relaxes and I get ready for a nights slumber ...it begins. Sometimes when I'm just about ready to go to sleep, but basically, every 42 seconds thereafter. My wife gets up out of bed and goes into the guest bedroom since she cannot sleep with the bed covers being lifted every 42 seconds!

I'm in my early sixties and different aches and pains are beginning to arise. We had our master bathroom remodeled just last week. We put a 'steam shower' in it to combat the oldness setting in our bodies. Every night for the past eight (8) days if sat in the 'steam shower' for 10 - 15 minutes just before I go to bed. I wake up the next morning with my wife still there in bed with me! I asked her about my myoclonus and she said, 'It was wonderful ...not a 'jerk'!

In my mind and I go through the various things I've done to combat this dog gone ailment ...I come to the conclusion of the 'steam shower' being the factor. All the steam radiating and the physical heat on my right leg quells it. I'm happy and my wife too! I'll just keep taking it every night and let you know of my progress.
