Blush medical proffession and epilepsy grrrrrrrrrr auto immune

Hi All, it's jen from oz, hope you dont mind i need to tell someone what the nuero said today. well she said i do apear to be having epileptic seizure.you know how i was winging about not getting proper help from the medical prof

after talking to my doc , and him saying oh jen i think this could be epilepsy straight after that i got my husband to call to make an appiontment and the reseptionist was a complete B----- rude to my hubby saying well you have to have a EEG , before you see even meet her, my husband being a very polite man took her rubbish and got off the phone flabbagasted. knowing i have these speciffic symptoms only during menses, so it would just be a waist of my time and money,i said see what i have to put up with? anyway we got an appiontment with a woman that had obviously over estimated the time needed for all her patients and or had a hot date she was going to be late for , one man walked out in disgust, after being left in a room half naked with the door half opened, on his own with no attention for an hour, another poor gentleman sitting in his walker nearly falling to sleep , he honestley looked so i'll , at one stage i thought he'd died, it was a comedy of errors for this so called proffessional. over booked and way over paid, she was one person and had three rooms going at the same time. My husband was livid after seeing her, and trust me it takes my hubby alot to become the slightest bit annoyed he is a very patient man. i felt oh at least some ones listening,on the way home My hubby said he wasnt happy, and explained she all but blew you off. she was prepeard to give you an eeg, for the epilepsy, but not interested in any other issues. so here we go round the mullberry bush again. fobbed from one doc to the next. i would just love to see specialists WORKING TOGETHER!!!!!! talking communicating with each other must be an unofficail code of NON communication. they send us from one to another specailist and dont explain anything. grrrrrrrrrrrrr. turns out i need to have a take home unit, during the time i think i may have a seizure, i do understand why, so my hubby and i were right, i may have got a negetive EEG and have gone home out of pocket and probably never having any result. so we'l wait and see and hope, during the 24 hours i have the EEG machine, ill have on of my episodes during this time.

so after all the info you've given, the next person i'll see will be an allergist, who understands the immune system. p.s , also i asked her if an auto immune sytem problem would ever cause seizure and she said unoquivectly NO! never. is this true?? isnt thyriod desease an auto immune deseas, isnt celiacs, and auto immune desease??? you see this would negate everything ive learned over the past 16 months

thankyou so very much, from the bottom of my heart for youre imput and setting me straight on some things. you dont know how much it means to , me. thanks every one.
hugs jen from Australia.
