I gave my dog a CET Dental Reward yesterday morning. I thought it was safe as I got it at the vet's office.
Last night he started vomiting, had several frequent bowel movements. This morning he is straining, but no BMs. Vomited during the night, but none since 5am or so. Has anyone had any experience with one of these chew bones? Does it sound like he has a blockage? |

OUCH poor doggie...
I am sorry I can't help you... Maybe try to give a can of wet dog food and huge bowl of water...Maybe that will help push something out... Does your vet have a 24/7 phone number to call him? Please let us know how your doggie is doing.... What kind is it? Hugs |

he is a English Setter/Spaniel mix, 9 years old.
I called the emergency pet ER...I may take him in after church today. He seems to have stopped vomiting, but that may because I took all food and water away from him last night. Thanks. |

My dog has a 'weak stomach' where many things can trigger a nasty episode of various kinds. I'd have him checked just to be safe. Perhaps send him outside to eat some grass, too.
Also, HERE is a link to the Pet section of our forums. You may be able to find more pet owners there with suggestions. Keep us updated! *Hugs* |

Ellie, thanks for the link. I have been a member for YEARS and didn't know there was a pet section.
