Default 3 Seizures since New Years..

Well, I've now had three seizures since New Years. All simple partials, but discomforting nonetheless. I'm wondering why this would happen now out of the blue when things have been going really well for so long. One was uncomfortable enough I wondered if it was going to go into a cp like I used to have but thankfully it didn't. That's what it reminded me of. I haven't been doing anything different with the exception of over indulging in sugar (holiday sweets).

Heart You are in my thoughts.

Sorry to hear that you had three already this year. I have had a bit of luck just having one. It was just a mild and was very short. We need to keep praying for each other and the many others here.

Hi Stef,
I've had 4 sz. just this month and I know that a lot of it has to do with the weather. I've always had more sz. during the fall and winter than in the spring and summer.
It could be possible that all the sugar you've had could have caused the sz. I've been told to cut back on the sugar and starch foods because it can sometimes cause sz. for a person do to the sugar causing more electrical activity in the brain.
Here's wishing you well and May God Bless You!

Sue

Thanks for the reply. I think I'm going to low carb it for a little while to see if that helps. It usually does. The last time I had problems was when I was under a lot of stress and I was also indulging in a lot of energy drinks (although I've been having them since then with no problems). Wouldn't hurt me to drop the few pounds I've put on since the holidays anyways.
Just makes me wonder if something else is going on.
