Default New Warning From FDA regarding Anti-Seizure Drugs

http://my.earthlink.net/article/hea?...02011431557396

I found this article very interesting, especially since I have both seizures and a problem with suicide thoughts. I am currently on Lamictal and it does well for me, unless I miss a dose.

Remember this is only a one sided article, so we all need to talk to our doctors and/or therapist before making any decisions.

Hi,
Thanks for sharing all the info. I know that the drug co. Pfizer has over $240 million in lawsuits on them because they never told anyone that neurontin can cause status sz. for people who take the drug and they were selling the drug off market saying it was good for head pain, menopause and much more until an employee from the company turned them in. I found all of this out when I saw it on NBC Dateline a few yrs. ago and it was causing me to have status sz. which lead to more brain damage.
I find the biggest problem with these drug co. is that they keep quiet about how badly some of the E. drugs can affect a person. Depkote can cause anorexia and eat up the blood platelets, tegretol can cause kidney problems, mysoline can eat up a persons lining to the intestines, lamicatal can cause serious rashes, and I could say much more about AED's. The FDA needs to get moving and check things out much better than they have the past few yrs. Here's wishing you well and May God Bless You!

Sue
