Thumbs up National Walk for Epilepsy was AWESOME! Look at Southie's Shirt!

It was awesome! "IF" there will be
one NEXT year ... there's a lot of
businesses who knows me and have
plans to sponsor me!

Just AWESOME!

Sure we walked to the Mall - and
had my shirt signed in permanent
ink!

I've linked it so I don't clobber the
boards with images - but here's
the:

Front Side of Southie's Shirt

I had check-points; but since many Business
Owners, Managers, etc - stops at Starbucks
in the morning - that's were we walked to
before we headed to the Mall and they learned
a lot! Since they know my son and I; they want
to sponsor me next year! They wished they'd
known about it (this year).

*laughs*

But nonetheless, the gang all walked to the
Mall, and another checkpoint there; and they
stayed there with my son who led the group
around the mall while I took off riding on the
Trek - and stopped at various places for check
points on the routes (which can be verified on
the mapquest).

Clearwater Fire Department, Safety Harbor
Fire Department, Dunedin Fire Department,
Countryside Mall (known now as Westfield Shopping
Towne), Starbucks, CVS Pharmacy, PCSO (Pinellas
County Sheriff's Office) - North Branch, Mease
Countryside Hospital, Mease Dunedin Hospital,
Morton Plant Hospital, and I think I covered everyone.

Went through 3 Cities; instead of 10 miles - went
nearly 17 miles by bicycle (not counting the 1.75
miles of walking) - ALL because of the GENEROUS
CONTRIBUTIONS!

3 Cities covered were:
Safety Harbor, Florida
Clearwater, Florida
Dunedin, Florida

FUN! Had many opportunities to talk to people along the
way; spreading awareness around and letting them know
they can also look it all up at epilepsyfoundation.org too.

Weather was PERFECT for this ~ couldn't ask for anything
better!
