Hi Bad Wolf,

I also have petit mal seizures and I was doing great until I was rear ended
by someone and I had a concussion and neck injuries then the seizures started to increase like crazy. My Epileptologist told me that this happened because of the concussion causing swelling to my brain and that in turn triggered the seizures.

The only other thing that might be going on with you is maybe you have a sleep disorder. I know sleep apnea causes a person to jerk around a little, as well as causing breathing disorders like shortness of breathe and a lot of snoring at night, plus you will feel exhauted during the day no matter how much sleep you get. Sleep apnea can also lead to heart problems also. You might want to look into having a sleep study done to see if this is the problem. Feeling tired can trigger seizures.

I wish you the best of luck and may God Bless You!

Sue
