Default dreams you can "feel"

i had mentioned this in a previous thread but now realise that people who have similar symptoms will read threads with those titles..so here's hoping someone else in the world can relate....

everyone i have ever spoken to says that dreams are the brains method of sifting through information gathered throughout the day etc etc which is totally fine as i have a lot of dreams in general that would fit that bill.

however, since my early 20's i started getting a different type of dream. the content would vary but the theme would be similar.....usually the feeling of a "presence" which is evil but not necessarily seeing anything nasty or stereotypical images of demons etc.

the other distinguishing feature of these types of dream is a gut wrenching fear that grabs you in the stomach then passes over you in a wave.

on two occassions i have had the unpleasant experience of believing i was awake during this but later realising that i wasn't.

anyone?.........
