Hello everyone, Long time no talk!!! For those of you who don't know, I've been having seizure for over 20 years now and I was wondering if after having convulsions for so many years you could possibly develop shoulder pain? I'm trying to figure out if I have a pinched nerve in my shoulder and if it's worth going to see my doctor for an ex-ray. Sure hope everyone is doing great!!

Hi Tiger Lilly,
It's great to hear from you. There have been times when I'm sore after having a convulsion but the pain usually goes away in a couple of days. A few yrs. ago I had terrible shoulder and neck pain on one side of my body and then the pain went down my forearm. I saw a specialist and found out that I had frozen shoulder from yrs. of taking mysoline. I had to go to physical therapy and do a few exericise to make things get better. If you notice the pain going down your shoulder and into your arm this may be the problem. I wish you the best of luck and keep me posted if you can. Take Care and May God Bless You! Sue |
