Hello Everyone!
About 3 years ago I was diagnosed with epilepsy. I am now 46. Since then I have developed alot of other problems... nothing to do with my seizures though. My Dad suffered with MS and lupus. He passed away last June. Recently I had an MRI of my brain because of weird headaches and sick to my belly etc. These headaches were not severe and have gone away. They showed up after major dental work. The result of the MRI was white spots on my brain. My doctor tells me they are from migraine headaches. I have NEVER had such a headache described by people that do have migraines. He said they could also be from my seizures. I have never believed I have seizures and they have never showed up on an EEG. When i do have an episode I stare, then get very stiff, turn my head to one side or another and cry. I could hear people talking to me but I cannot answer them back. I am exhausted after and I could sleep for days. Sometimes I have a headache after. I am being treated for seizures by a neurologist and I am taking Lamictal and adivan. What do you think? |
