Oh great. Another bad side effect. I will put that on my list of drugs that I shouldn't take. My mom had horrible kidney stones as does both my sisters.

Hi Ellie,
While I was on topamax I didn't have any problems with kidney stones. I found that the topamax increased my sz. so I had 23 sz. in one month. I had kidney stones and kidney infection while taking tegretol xr and trileptal.
