Poor little guy was totally exhausted and frankly I was too. While he was being tested, I watched Madagascar twice and The Polar Express once. He was totally worn out. They tested him from 9:00 to 11:40 and we broke for lunch and then from 12:40 until 3:00. They still needed to do more, but he was wiped out, soooo we have to go back on Monday for more...another two hours at least. If he's half as brain dead as I am, I feel for him.
When we were coming back from lunch, there was a playground there in front of the hospital. We've always joked that since I had such bad vertigo when I was pregnant with him, he got all his dizziness out. That child can spin like a top and not be effected. I can turn over in bed and have to throw up in the trash can. Well they had this neat spinning thing...won't even try to explain and he has met his match. I thought he was going to hurl, but he made it. This might have contributed to his problems in the afternoon. I got all our Christmas cards done. Whew. His comments on the testing...well he got to sit in front of a computer and he was supposed to press the space bar only when a letter came up but not on X...his comment...what do they think I am? Stupid??? Another was moving some blocks into another position in like six moves or less. His happiest part was not writing much at all. Still can't get his records from Houston. I hope Monday is this easy! Julie

![]() Try to find out if that was the test and get the results, the test does seem stupid but once you get the results it makes more sense and is very cool to read on. Keep us updated. Tell Michael Aunty Ellie had the test done and I thought the same thing!! ![]()

They are testing everything under the sun including IQ. He told his friends in Sunday School today that they were measuring the size of his brain.
The results should be back in two weeks.

Woo hooo! Today went so much better than Friday. He did fall asleep in the car which usually makes him really cranky which worried me, but he went in with a smile on his face. Me, gosh I was sooo excited to see The Polar Express again!
They were done in about an hour and 45 minutes. She said he did wonderful today and she was so glad that we stopped on Friday and came back. He was fresh and well rested (I didn't tell her he was awake until midnight...lolol) The only problem she saw was with the memory tests and that since his IQ was "off the chart" that should more than make up for it. She said she'd give us exercises to work on that. I was a little surprised on the memory probs though; he was the star last year in memorizing Bible verses for school. I know he's glad it's all over!
