Default It effects everyone

There's an epilepsy center in my city & they just had a commercial that I agree with. They say "Epilepsy effects everyone". Think about it, it is so true. My sis decided not to take me to our bro's house so my dad would ride with her. Thus my bro & I would not see each other & I wouldn't see his new house or his GFs house (I could go on).. But luckily my DH came home & we could go. She told me as we were driving someplace & I just kept crying. Not just cuz I wanted to go, but I thought of that commercial. One time you could say my DDs BF was effected. She was driving me home & said she was late for her date, thus her BF was effected & who knows, maybe his mom cuz she wanted to stay home till he left???? (again you could go on).

Hi Lor,
I have to agree with you that epilepsy can effect everyone. My brother has nothing to do with me anymore even though I've invited him and his family over many times, my parents sent me to a boarding school out of state for 3 yrs. when I was in my teens and they didn't pay for my AED's or anything. Even after I had brain surgery to better myself my family still has cut themselves off from me but I'm not going to let that stop me from leading a positive and joyful life. My DH and his family have accepted me and we have a wonderful time together. I also had an Aunt who understood everything because she had MS but she passed away this past fall. What matters the most to me is that I'm able to reach out and help others in need whether it's a personal, physical, or emotional problem. If I can relate to the problem I like to help others. The one person that has helped me the most is the Lord. He's always been there for me. Here's wishing you only the best and May God Bless You!

Sue

Default Effects all

Lor
Yes it also has affected my family as well, I have lost contact with my Sister and Brother over this.they never wanted any thing to do with me growing up and now that we are grown it is more in my face how they want noting to do with me. but like sue I had no choice but to move on and love myself and the lord more and just forget them for they are just a thron in my side and caused me grife and pain, And when you carry Epilepsy all your life you can not drag your self down with the sickness of your sister and brother you just have to move on.because it will make you sick in the end. And I am worth more then that. I have a good life now with my husband , Dog , and me ....and yes my Mother is now part of my life to she came back into my life so I feel blest
