Default Seizures

My boyfriend is 32 and began having seizures 1 and a half years ago. We cant figure out what is causing them. He has only had 2(grand mal) seizures and this morning was the second one. He was actually walking having a seizures his hands clinched, moaning really loudly, eyes rolling back and vomiting. I had to call for an ambulance and by time they got here he was snoring hard and sleeping didnt know who he was, when he would wake up. It always happens in the morning. Well after we got home from the hospital he still wasn't feeling well and would break out into sweats from head to toe. This is like our warning sign. The doctors didnt give him any ativan because there was no seizure activitiy anymore. But they should have given it to him because he is not doing good. He has been sleeping for almost 24 hours. Anyway does anyone have any sugestions on what could be causing these seizures? When he goes in to the hospital we will have a pulse of around 150 . Could his heart be causing these seizures? Thanks
