Does anyone else experience these odd sensations, not limited to certain parts of body (happens everywhere, head to toe.)
I don't have a lot of muscle aching, mine are abnormal neuro sensations, every possible test known to man came back negative...........It has to be Fibro!! I am on 900mg. Neurotin/day. |

I get that.....I call the 'electric shockers' = zingers and the 'crawly' feeling = mice. I only get those sensation in my neck and shoulder area which is also affected by RSD. The rest of my body's fibro issues are the 'typical' aches and overwhelming fatigue.

I think you have parasites. Any crawling sensation on/under the skin like things moving around is parasites. It could also be mites.
This is like me i was diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy and allover abnormal sensations like freezing feeling of electricity going through my limbs, feeling crawling, tingling, numbness and what not and it turns out i DON'T have peripheral neuropathy but rather a chronic hidden infection of strongyloidiasis. |

No nothing was found in blood tests or stool samples.
I ended up doing a muscle biopsy which diagnosed the parasites (Strongyloides Stercoralis & Trichinella Spiralis) Causing Trichinosis and Strongyloidiasis. I also have a nasal parasite although i cannot confirm it but i had gotten relief from difficulty breathing through my nose using ivermectin which apparently kills these things... i still cannot believe all my problems have been caused by these things. this nasal parasite is called leishmania or donovan something like that. These things have ruined my life and left me with minimal friends from all the symptoms im constantly experiencing i cannot be around many people nor can i explain to anyone why i feel like **** nor do i want to. |

That sounds awful...
In a young person with THREE parasitical diseases I'd really look at life style and figure out how you contracted these, and make some changes. There is a relatively common nasal pathogen, but it is not a parasite. It colonized the sinuses, and often comes from using Neti Pots frequently with tap water (instead of sterile saline products). It is a mycobacterium and very resistant to antibiotics, so once a person is infected, it is really hard to eradicate. http://abclocal.go.com/wabc/story?se...cal&id=6046064 This organism also infects surgical areas, when poor sterilization is used (for example where in office plastic surgery cases are done instead of a hospital) One of our posters on NeuroTalk was colonized with this, and cultures done at Mayo.

Nice to meet you. I know this is an older post, but I'm new and it pretains. I get lots of weird feelings. My thighs and back get little tingling feelings when I over use them (usually precludes a sore day). I also have a feeling like something is crawling over my feet when I stand barefoot in one spot too long (like washing dishes!). I also get electric jolts up my arm when I use my hand too much (like with a computer mouse or handheld device). I also get this weird feeling like my phone is on vibrate and goes off in my pocket (or around my hip area) and my phone isn't in my pocket. I don't know why any of these happen, or what condition of mine cause them. I have so many things to discuss with my Dr when I am in, these seem insignificant, so I forget to bring them up. Hope you have figured out something for yourself by now. best, mj |

I have lots of trps in my neck, right side and down the back of my shoulder. This contributes to these sensations. |

I'm glad contradiction14 got the thread back on track...I too have what ever this condition is. There are times when I feel it all over or just on one arm. It is most often in my arms going up to my neck, shoulders. I feel this buzz that just makes me crazy. I refer to it as my body buzz.
It usually only happens during the evening and sleep hours of the day. I haven't noticed what I might have been doing before it happens. The only way I can get rid of it is to take a few pills...However...I will say that it is something that doesn't happen very often but when it does I feel like I have to move all the time so I won't feel it. Does any of this make since??? I know this has been discussed before...I'll try to find the thread...
