Default hello

Hello everyone,
Nice to meet you.

I am so excited to find this forum. I have been posting for a few months on the psych central chronic pain forum, and found this link by accident.

I have Fibromyalgia and Chronic Myofascial Pain (or Myofascial Pain Syndrom if you prefer )

Would love to talk and bounce thoughts and ideas off you all.

I try all natural remedys.

I take:
Glucosamine 2000mg
Calcium Barbonate 1000mg
Magnesium 400mg
D3 600 I.U.
Zinc 15mg
B12 250mcg
St John's Wort 300mg 3x day
Flax seed oil 1000mg 3x day
Tylenol 1000mg 4x day
Ibuprofen 600mg 4x day

Prescriptions:
Cyclobenzaprine 10mg 3x day rpn

However, it knocks me on my butt, so as far as I'm concerned as needed is when my traps in my upper back are so tight they feel like they are going to rip off. Then I will take one assuming I do not have to drive in the next 6 hours. It does set me off in a fibro flare though when I take it, but helps relieve the muscle tension enough to be tolerable again. Oh well, can't have everything I suppose .

I'm not sure why my user name is something different on this forum. I must have registered before and not remember (weird right ). I really won't remember to use both. Will it confuse you all to much if I sign with a different name?

Hey Donna,
Nice to meet you.
I agree about the weather being crappy. It was 11 degrees this morning when I left for work. Holy crapping cold!! The summer sun is too hot and I can't tolerate it, and the Wisconsin winters are too cold for me to tolerate. I need to move somewhere that is like spring and fall all year long. Don't worry, when I find that place, I'll let you know .
