I am trying to seperate if I can the problems I have fybromyalga being one and monoclonal gamampathy igG with kappa lights and intemittent neutopaenia. Recently diagnosed to find out what is causing what gasp... I was told my fibromyalga was nerve damage for 27yrs without ant tests so I dont know if I still have nerve damage it was not dismissed.

Now my feet ache so much if I walk it aggrivates more if I dont walk it still hurst so much pain everyday in the soles of my feet just wanted to know if anyone has the same thing in either diagnoses. I have been looking for shoes that are made for these problems. i.e clarks which are not to flattering as I believe that wont stop the pain maybe just a bit mor cushiony or maybe when I get on the right medication it may help I dont know as Lyrica does nothing and the medications I have had for my mental ilnesses have so much side effects so there is going to be a review all i take now is diazepam for relax and sleep ive been on them for a week, which I will have to stop in the next couple of weeks due to adiction.

I can't tell you much about the different diagnosis. But I do know some about fibro. I've been diagnosed for a few years. Its something that a medication takes a while to work. You might want to get something like
gabapentin, which is generic for Neurotin. This is what i take. I also
take a muscle relaxer.


Also I have to do exercises, And make sure my body stays loose. I've been
told to take magnesium that it helps with pain.

I too, have a hard time separating my fibro symptoms from my neuropathy and arthritis symptoms. Although, I can often tell when it's a nerve problem, so that isn't arthritis, but neuropathy and fibro both involve nerves.

My feet ache when I walk too. My left thigh sometimes feels like someone is punching it with every step. I do realize though, the walking is my physical therapy and it must be done, otherwise things will only get worse, so I keep at it. Some days are ok though, so that helps with the bad days, just knowing there will be good days too.

You are right walking is a must when one can, or else you will cease up. Its so hard at times with the neck pains and my buttocks pelvis also. To even want to move its strange, which ever pain decides what day it will strike. On a particular part of the body and wreak havoc!
I have been given so many meds in the past tramadol coedine other strong ones declafenec etc now lyrica.
which does not really help got to see hemotologist very anxious.

Flexeril she has given some good info on the site about some research in fybro

My feet hurt if I'm sitting or standing. I have confirmed PN there. I on Flexeril, a muscle relaxer, with Vicoden for the really crummy days.

I should also state that I've got plantar's factatius.

So I have to do calf exercises. And other exercises to keep the pain down.

Its back to a extent that I need to get in for a cortisone shot in one of my feet.

But not sure if I will or not.

I agree the feet pain and standing I associate with the neuropathy pain I did not put PN as I dont knoiw what area of neuropathy it is I had to by myself a stick yesterday been fighting not to but my two big toes on my right fot felt like the bones broke yesterday while I WAS walking and the pain took hold of my whole leg and then the other foot on the heel began to stab severely. dragging myself is what i was doing yesterday to get home horrible

Yes, I have the pain in the soles of my feet whether standing walking or sitting. My Rheumo suggested the (yes, unflattering) support shoes and I have been wearing them around the house for about a week now. The difference in the pain is noticeable. On the one day I decided to not wear the supportive shoes, the sole pain returned. I was told, in time and persistence the soles will be relieved but not completely. I have fibromyalgia, arthritis and PTSD disorders. I am stopping the Lyrica under the care of my Doctor and choosing movement and good diet, though I will likely always have to manage the mental and health problems proactively. Keep moving (once you get those shoes) happy feet go a long way!!

I do not do any meds. I find they all make me so ill, it's easier to deal with the pain! The meds all cause a flare up with my leaky gut/candida issues, so I have to weigh which pain is worse. I gave up the meds and do the best I can with diet and exercise.
