I have not had the injections but my new pain management doctor just started me on oral Ketamine. I take 1ML 4 times a day along with 50 MG of Kadian every 12 hours. I have only been using the Ketamine for a week now and am not very impressed with it. It seems to only last about 2 hours at it's best. It has helped pain-wise but the side effects aren't worth it in my opinion. I have had some mild hallucinations, disturbing (vivid) dreams, sensitivity to lights, blurred vision and more fatigue than usual. I would love to hear from others who have been using this medication for a longer period and what their experience has been. Do the side effects go away over time???

Thanks!

Default Ketamine infusions

Hello to Poland. Sorry you have fibromyalgia. Glad you found Neuro
Talk and I hope alot of others respond to you. I had two Ketamine infusions in my spine for cervical problems. These infusions, several weeks apart, did alot to help my pain. I had no side effects, or pain even in the injection site. No headaches. The pain relief lasted about two months. I wish you all the best. ginnie
