Default Liability at Work

I spoke to my boss for the first time about my Chronic Fatigue. He was supportive but I started to wonder if he thinks that I am a liability at work. I have fallen several times in the last three months (not at work yet!) and had to take time off. I'm afraid he thinks I will fall at work and cause a workmen's comp claim. Should I be thinking about going on disability? I am currently able to do my job but it is getting more difficult by the day.
