What works/worked for me is Effexor XR or Cymbalta.
I'm on the Effexor XR now -- the right dosage was difficult to find. My doctor just increased the dosage for my depression and it's thrown everything good out the window. When I was on the 'correct' dosage -- for me that was 2-37.5 MB in the mornng -- I had no trouble sleeping. Both the Effexor XR and the Cymbalta stop the pain. When the pain stops, I can sleep. I've had fibro since 1990. I was originally taking Prozac -- that took the 'sharpness' off the pain enough so that i could function/work. But, I still had to nap every chance I got. I worked 40 hours a week and slept the weekends away. Great life, huh With fibro, you HAVE TO sleep. That's at the top of the list -- even before eating, right after breathing. No pain and hugs.
