Yup and they feel like they catch on your ribs? OUCH!
Not sure if its FM but it doesn't help that it happens. Actually it just happened to me this AM!

Hi Sweetmiri,

Thanks, you answered a question for me! I was diagnosed 11 yrs ago with fibro and have had alot of stuff going on. I get alot of pain in the ribs and sides bending or if I move wrong wasn't sure if it is connect to the fibro or not since my doctor said I was fine and shouldn't be hurting. But I also have alot of internal scar tissue too so who knows.

I do know that weather changes, damp, moldy or mildewy places etc can also be a problem. There are many things connected to fibro I do know that IBM, low body temp, low blood pressure etc. Does heat or chemical odors like bleach, cooking odors etc bother you as well. Please contact me anytime. my yahoo link is listed don't know if we are suppose to give email address on here? If so I will give mine to you.
Take care and God bless.Bridget

Hi Wendy,

I read your thread, becareful about labeling yourself with things like Bipolar etc, it can make you feel worse- of course if your doctor knows about the fibro and says you also have bipolar that is one thing but I have found that alot of symptoms I have and thought were ADD or ADD/ ADHD were just the fibro fog associated with the fibromyalgia.

I again it is a big pain! Good luck.

I was dx'd with BP long after my FM dx. I take Depakote now and feel much better. I am actually working after 5 years because of the medication.
I am not ashamed of my dx's and no one should be regardless of what they are. My therapist actually has asked me to speak, the next time she has a seminar, about accepting and living with your mental disorder while not lingering on it. My cousin's therapist says the same thing, but labeling yourself and accepting yourself are two different things.
