Very generally speaking...
Seeing your doctor regularly to discuss medications that might be of assistance...getting a second opinion if your doctor is uncaring or uninformed. Naproxen for muscle aches is often taken. Sometimes antidepressants and muscles relaxers can be of help. In some cases, I have heard of people needing narcotics at times. A good vitamin routine, including a B50 tablet and extra B12. Avoiding excessive stress and excessive physical activity. Gentle/moderate exercise regularly. Masssage and/or physical therapy when warranted. Seeing a therapist if needed; especially if the stress or pain levels are excessive. Eating a healthy diet...avoiding "junk" type foods. Getting to bed on time...at least attempting to get 8 hours of sleep per night. Taking an appropriate medication to help with sleep if repeated attempts fail. Having your thyroid and other hormone levels checked to see if replacement therapy is needed. Patience and preserverance. |
