I want to share my experience in case it may help someone else.
Two years ago I began to experience painful muscle knots in almost all of my skeletal muscles. They interfered with my exercise program an began to make sleep very difficult to achieve. After a year of suffering with my only relief from lidocaine injections I discovered that ultrasound could treat the knots as well as lidocaine so I purchased a professional ultrasound device and began self therapy. This worked fairly well for treating my symptoms, but required one half to one hour per day since the knots continued to pop up, especially after aerobic exercise. A few weeks ago I read some testimonials about the use of proteolytic enzymes. I ordered some Wobenzym, enteric Nattokinase and enteric Serrapeptase to give them a try. I started out by taking the recommended dosage of each one twice per day. As if by a miracle relief began after the first day and about 10 days later all of the knots had disappeared and have not returned. I plan to cut back my dosage to find the minimum effective amount, but at this time I am continuing with the original amount. Maybe enzyme therapy would work for others. I think it would be worth a try. |

Thanks Coolplace. Haven't heard of that but will read up on it. I'm glad your pain is better.

Just reading over your info..... sounds quite interesting. I plan on doing further research, but it seems to be worth a shot. Is it something your healthcare pays for? If not, can you give me a price range? Hope you continue to feel better. I was also given the same shots, with very little relief.
